Rendering Konnakkol Jathis: Konnakkol is now a days a very rare field. This is a special kind of art of rendering the rhythmic syllables of mridangam and other Indian percussion instruments. He often uses this in composing the dance numbers and jathis. He learnt this rare and special art form from his guru Needaamangalam Shri. Krishnamurthy Bhaagawathar.
In the Month of February 2000 he was invited as guest for the Programme ‘Vaazhndhu Kaattuvom’ produced by AIR, Chennai. It was a live phone-in show and he was interviewed for 55 minutes in appreciation of his outstanding achievement in propagating Keyboard in the field of Indian Classical music and dance.
